2020 - The signs of a 100% made in France innovation
Our very first energy harvester comes into being in 2020, in the smart mind of one of our engineers. The goal is very ambitious: design an autonomous current sensor, without wiring and battery free, based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, on a single phase cable. To complete this project successfully, TCT joined forces with e-peas, semiconductors designer and manufacturer in the energy harvesting, who designs the first circuit board prototype. Together, we design a pioneer prototype with two cores : one for the energy harvesting and one for the current measurement.

2021 - Concept evolution
Spurred by the enthusiasm generated during trade shows, we have noticed, the need to develop our product in order to meet the markets’ requirements.
Presentation of the Energy Harvester with our partner e-peas during the 2021 SIDO trade shows
- More compact design (only one core for the energy harvesting and the current measurement) for an easiest installation in the electrical cabinets
- Integration of a temperature probe allowing the product to measure temperature, in addition to current
- Extension to the industrial protocol LoRaWAN
New design with only one core
2023 - Industrialization and preparation to mass production
The product range takes off with a final design and enhanced functionalities. The casing is changed to the colour grey to match our standard range.
We hand the communication part BLE/LoRaWAN to our partner ATIM, a designer and manufacturer of IoT solutions.
We start the development of the smartphone mobile application (Android/Apple) through our partner Integral System (specialized in computing hardware and custom industrial computer) to supervise remotely measurements.
it is also that year that we reveal a major breakthrough : the Autonomous power system. As simple as the autonomous sensor, it just has to be put around a cable to provide power to IoT devices, without wiring and batteryfree.
An ecological and economical commitment: the birth of the E-Green range

2024 - Start of mass production; an international ambition
Given the growing interest in our products, we reorganize our production to create a defined area, exclusively dedicated to this new range:
2024 is also the beginning of the international development.
After several trade shows in France, we decide to take the plunge and participate in the IoT World Congress of Barcelona, Spain.
And in order to better meet the growing demand, strategic distribution partnerships with ATIM, Integral System and Voltebox are set up..
