Iron-Silicon magnetic cores

The Iron-Silicon alloy is an iron-based material with 3% of Silicon. We use Grain-Oriented (GO) Iron-Silicon or Not-Oriented Grain (NO) Iron-Silicon. The Grain-Oriented Iron-Silicon is available in different quality: standard quality like M6X or high quality like HiB. At TCT, we have our own annealing process to optimize material performance.

With low losses at low-frequency, a high saturation and a good permeability, the Iron-Silicon GO is mainly used in the manufacturing of magnetic sensors, power transformers, three-phase transformers and instrument transformers.

The Iron-Silicon is available in strips with a thickness of 0.025 to 0.3mm and a width of 5 to 200mm.

TCT manufactures wound cores in any shape (toroidal, square, C…)

Please contact us if you have any questions about the materials used by TCT or specific dimensions.
